My baby boy was perfect - he just feel asleep.
October 15th is Baby Loss Awareness Day. At 7pm there is an an international wave of light that flows around the world for 24 hours - so please light a candle between 7 and 8pm for all the babies gone too soon. I will be meeting other bereaved parents at Hertford Castle tonight so we can light our candles and remember our babies together. Please feel free to join us if you live locally in Hertford, Ware, Buntingford, Harlow or Bishops Stortford.
This also means we have reached the end of our 15 Faces of Baby Loss (for this year) and I would like to end by introducing a beautiful woman I met at my first ever SANDS meeting. Fiona has only shared a few words, but they say it all really.
I lost my son Ernie at 34+4 weeks. He was born still. Ernie was my only pregnancy - I was never pregnant again, and will never have a rainbow baby.
My son was perfect and there was nothing wrong with me - he just feel asleep.
The pregnancy had been ok until the last trimester. I was quite poorly but they all said it was just being pregnant. I gave birth to Ernie at the Addenbrooks hospital and had counselling with Petals Charity - the staff were all amazing and helped me through.
I miss him every minute of every day.

I couldn't let Black Friday 2020 go by without some amazing deals for my wonderful and valued customers... I've missed you all so much this year, but have loved the few shoots I was able to squeeze in between lockdowns and Home Education.
